The Law of Attraction states: “That which is like unto itself is drawn.”
Your thoughts create your reality. Your perception is your reality. What you think about sets the tone for your emotions. If you notice the negative side of everything, you are more likely to be down, sad, depressed. You likely have a pessimistic outlook on life, the glass half empty. However, if you see life more positively, notice the beauty and goodness that abounds, you are probably more relaxed, happier and upbeat.
Life is energy. You are energy. And all energy has a vibration. Your vibration is created by your thoughts and your emotions. Emotions such as shame, guilt, despair, anxiety/fear, craving, anger and pride are the lowest and have the lowest vibrations. These emotions keep us stuck, ruminating and wallowing in self pity and hopelessness. There is little creativity in this space.
Emotions of trust, affirmation, optimism, acceptance, love, joy peace all raise your vibration bringing you into a place of satisfaction, mercy, wisdom and love.
Where would you rather be? What kind of energy do you want in your life? When you have a “good” day, do you think its because you were in a good mood or do you think the stars aligned to make your day awesome?
Have you ever walked into a room and within minutes you felt uplifted and joyful? Where were you and who was in the room? And of course the opposite happens too. You walk into a room and notice within seconds a depressed or sad mood or maybe its just very intense. Suddenly you feel heavy and need to escape. The thoughts of the people and or person in the room create the atmosphere.
How can you change your thoughts? Start by noticing them. And start with you. Look in the mirror. What are the voices in your head telling you? What thoughts come to you? Do you like them? If not, you can stop them by just saying “STOP”. Then decide what you want to think. What opinion do you want to have about yourself? Focus on your positives. Be forgiving.
Often those critical thoughts we have of others come from our own dislike of ourselves. Start with loving thoughts toward yourself. Start drawing love to yourself and then you will be able to give it to others.
